Contatta UTA THEILE PHOTOGRAPHYUta Theile é nata à Lipsia, Germania, nel 1975. Nel 1991 ha cominciato ad interessarsi alla fotografia e ha fatto le prime esperienze nella camera oscura: esposizione dei primi lavori personali nell’ambito di un progetto per la gioventù. Nel 1995 si é trasferita ad Amburgo per lavorare nel «Chicken Studio», uno studio di fotografi . Nel 1996 ha cominciato a lavorare come assistente grafico per la rete televisiva ARD. Nel 1997 ha lavorato durante le riprese per la produzione di due lungometraggi dello «Studio Hamburg» e di «Telefilm Saar» come praticante-tecnico dell’illuminazione e 2° assistente del cameraman.
Dal 1997 al 2011 vive à Monterosso al mare, Cinque Terre. Nel 2011 viene pubblicto il suo primo libro "L'arte della pesca" - un viaggio nella pesca delle Cinque Terre , accompagnato dalla mostra fotografica, documentando in bianco e nero una delle più antiche tradizioni ligure che sta sparendo...

Uta Theile was born in Leipzig, Germany, in 1975. She began to be interested in photography in 1991 and spent her first hours in the darkroom as she was preparing an exhibition of her early works for a project for young people. In 1995, she moved to Hamburg to continue her photography work in the “Chicken Studio.” In 1996 she was hired as an assistant graphic designer for the German ARD broadcasting network. In 1997 she worked with Studio Hamburg and Telefilm Saar as apprentice lighting technician and second assistant camera operator for the production of two featurelength films.
She has lived in Monterosso al Mare, in the Cinque Terre, from 1997 till 2011. In 2011 her first book "The art of fishing"- a journey inside Cinque Terre fishing is pubblished together with it's photo exhibition, black and white photographs document one of the oldest ligurian tradition which is more and more disappearing...
